THE MODAFY ROUTINE. PRODUCTIVITY, SIMPLIFIED.
Do you ever find that no matter how hard you try or however many unhealthy habits you stop, you still seem to struggle with energy, irritability and mental lethargy?
Forcing yourself to be productive is tough, but its not just willpower and self control alone that will let you get things done.
Mental health is one of the most important elements to ensure long term quality of life and should never be overlooked. Optimizing your brain’s performance leads to increased motivation, sustained productivity and routine success in your daily activities.
Your brain is the holy grail to every aspect of your life and a muscle that needs to be exercised regularly and fed with the right nutrients.
We are creatures of habit and busy lifestyles and pressures at work can sometimes lead us into periods of mental decline. Automating key behaviours is one of the best ways to achieve greater output without depleting our energy reservoir.
UNLEASH THE TRUE POTENTIAL OF MODAFY AND YOUR COGNITIVE STATE BY ADHERING TO THE FOLLOWING DAILY ROUTINE:
1. START YOUR DAY
Take Modafy upon waking 30 minutes before breakfast with a large glass of water. Willpower, concentration and the ability to complete complex tasks tends to be higher earlier in the day.
2. ENSURE ADEQUATE REST
Sleep is a crucial aspect for optimum cognition. You should aim to get between 7-8 hours a night and monitor your sleep patterns using an app such as Sleep Genius to ensure you wake up naturally at the best time each day.
Start the practice of meditation for 15 minutes each morning as part of a daily ritual. Meditation cleanses and nourishes you from within, bringing the brainwave pattern into an alpha state that promotes healing. The mind now becomes fresh, delicate and beautiful.
4. DAILY GOALS
Write down on a piece of paper five major tasks that you want to accomplish for the day and set a realistic goal of how you will get them done. Do the most important first. The feeling of satisfaction each day of completing tasks is a great mental motivator.
5. EAT CLEAN
Your brain is unable to function at the right level if you are eating junk food or drinking too much alcohol. Limit your intake of sugar and refined carbohydrates and focus on natural foods including lean meats and vegetables. You will notice an increase in energy and less sluggishness during the day from this alone as your blood sugar levels are stablilised.
6. EXERCISE DAILY
Anything that is good for the heart is typically good for the brain.
Exercise engages the brain on multiple fronts. It elevates heart rate, which in turn pumps more oxygen to the brain. It also helps with the release of a plethora of hormones, all of which contribute in providing a nourishing environment for the growth of brain cells.
Exercise stimulates the brain plasticity by stimulating growth of new connections between cells in a wide array of important cortical areas of the brain.
